Plastics Shift Supervisor
A local Erie company is seeking a Supervisor to oversee their plastics production line. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations of a production line. The ideal candidate will be a mindful leader who excels in maintaining quality standards while leading a diverse team.
Responsibilities

Supervise all activities during the assigned shift to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor team members and adjust processes to optimize output.

Assign tasks and responsibilities as necessary while being mindful of each team-member’s abilities.

Collaborate with production planners and upper management to develop and implement production strategies.

Promote safety and policy compliance among team-members.

Train and mentor employees to promote long-term success and dedication.
Qualifications and Skills

Previous supervisory experience required.

Solid understanding of production processes and strategies.

Excellent communication skills.

Understanding and familiarity of computer systems and software.

Ability to effectively plan, organize, and schedule team-members according to their ability.

Familiarity with safety regulations pertaining to production methods and processes.
