Machine Repair Technician
Responsibilities

Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment

Determine the cause of machine trouble, plan repair parts needed, look up part numbers, and recommend to Maintenance Supervisor repair parts needed.

Make repairs to machines and equipment.

Assist in maintaining spare parts area for machines.

Perform job assignments from work order form, filling out properly, with sign off in a timely manner.

Assist in the installation of new equipment and machines.
-
Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.

Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

Coordinate and recommend solutions to major machine problems with maintenance and machine shop supervisors.

Perform basic machine preventative maintenance.

Perform routine shop maintenance duties.

Able to work overtime.
-
Work extra hours when called in for emergencies.
-
Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
-
Previous Maintenance experience
-
Experience with basic mechanics, welding, plumbing, electrical
-
Forklift experience
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
-
Read and write English.

Pass Background Check
-
Clean Drug Screen

3rd shift with training on 1st and 2nd

Pay Rate starts at $20 per hour
