Industrial Laundry Machine Maintenance
Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of industrial washers, dryers, ironers, folding machines, and other related equipment.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues affecting machine performance and resolve them efficiently.

Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.

Replace or repair defective components, such as belts, bearings, valves, motors, and sensors.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Work closely with the production team to identify and address machine performance concerns.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations.

Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed.

Recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

Previous experience in industrial machine maintenance, preferably in a laundry or textile environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Ability to diagnose and repair motors, controls, belts, pumps, and heating elements.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs.), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts when needed.
