Grinder
Responsibilities

Operate grinding equipment to smooth, polish, and refine metal parts

Review work orders and specifications to understand product requirements
-
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized grinding machinery
-
Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring quality standards are met
-
Perform minor maintenance on grinding equipment as needed
-
Adhere to all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
-
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
-
Document completed work and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Familiarity with grinding machinery and various types of grinders
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-
Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
-
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require prolonged standing, bending, and hand dexterity
-
Knowledge of workplace safety practices and the ability to follow them
