Field Technician
As a Field Technician, you will play a critical role in the restoration and cleanup of properties damaged by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. You will work on-site, employing your technical skills to mitigate damage, perform restoration tasks, and ensure a successful recovery for our clients.
Responsibilities

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, and other disaster damage restoration.

Assess the extent of damage and develop a mitigation plan.

Water & Fire Damage Restoration:
-
Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification activities.
-
Conduct fire damage cleanup, including smoke and soot removal.
-
Utilize specialized equipment for efficient restoration processes.
-

Mold Remediation:
-
Execute mold remediation procedures in accordance with industry standards.
-
Implement containment measures to prevent the spread of mold during cleanup.
-

Cleaning and Sanitization:
-
Clean and sanitize affected areas to restore a safe and habitable environment.

Utilize cleaning agents and disinfectants as appropriate.

Documentation:

Document all restoration activities, including before-and-after photos, moisture readings, and other relevant data.

Prepare accurate and detailed job records and reports.

Customer Communication:
-
Communicate effectively with clients to explain the restoration process and address any concerns.

Provide updates on the progress of restoration projects.

Equipment Maintenance:
-
Ensure proper maintenance and operation of equipment used in restoration activities.

Report any equipment malfunctions or damage promptly.

Safety Compliance:
-
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all restoration activities.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Team Collaboration:
-
Work collaboratively with other team members and subcontractors to ensure efficient project completion.

Assist in training and mentoring junior field technicians as needed

Qualifications and Skills
-
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in water damage restoration, fire and smoke restoration, or mold remediation are desirable.

Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-
Availability for on-call or after-hours emergency response as needed.

Pay Rate is $17.00 per hour

1st Shift, 8 AM – 5 PM
