Die Setter
Our client in the Girard area is looking for a 1st shift Die Setter. These individuals will be responsible for assembling necessary tools, setting up the necessary equipment such as progressive Dies. This is a 10hr shift which will give the individual a 3-day weekend.
Responsibilities

Candidate would assemble necessary tools and set up shop floor equipment such as progressive dies, presses or other manufacturing equipment designed to produce, trim, size, form, and finish drawn metal enclosures and stampings.

Check for accuracy, fit, sharpness and print specifications.

Check height, ID, OD, Wall thickness, finish and other criteria specified drawings or instructions.

Occasional running of presses when necessary
Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or GED required.

Technical school preferred
-
1 year experience with mechanical disciplines related to die setting, basic mechanical skills.

Understanding and interpretation of blueprints and drawings

Operation of all die setter tools and measuring devices

Background check required

Pay Rate is $17-$18 per hour. BOE
