Responsibilities

• Assist senior carpenters in construction and renovation projects

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Help install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work sites

• Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear

• Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs

Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Completion of a vocational program in carpentry or related field is preferred but not required

  • Basic understanding of carpentry techniques and tools

  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Reliable transportation to reach various work sites

  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members
